Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Royal’

Did you know that the first time anyone ever saw Michael Jordan wearing Air Jordan 1 sneakers was in a 1985 Nike poster? That’s right – the iconic photo of MJ wearing the Air Jordan 1 Royals was the very first time that the world saw him in Air Jordans. And as it turns out, the Royals are actually Jordan’s favorite colorway of the Air Jordan 1. He chose them to be the first colorway available for purchase, and they’re also the only one of the Top 3 Air Jordan 1 Retro colorways that he never wore on the court. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royals have been released three times since 1985 – in 2001, 2013, and 2017.
